Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is preparing to reclaim a powerful committee chairmanship in the upcoming Congress, VTDigger reports. Sanders told NBC News that Americans are calling for real transformation, not tinkering around the edges, and urged Democrats to support nationwide healthcare. He also warned that the party cannot allocate all its resources to Trump investigations while preparing to govern. Progressive organizers credit Sanders’s sustained leadership tactics for the comeback, noting his consistent demand for party transformation. Sanders insisted the focus must remain on medical services and economic rights rather than endless investigations.
